FOLLOWING TRACES WITH FOOTSTEPS IN THE MUD
Understanding a place is not an easy task for anyone, even for those who are involved in creating it. Every place has its own soul, intertwined with a historical and cultural narrative that seems to be expressed only through certain distinctive signs at specific times.

Throughout the journey of seeking and shaping the identity of their projects, architects at SENSEHOME CONCEPT always have a very special phase: immersing themselves in the destination, searching for things that the naked eye cannot see, at times no one expects.
For each type of project, the time spent on this search can vary, depending on the clarity of the signs and features. Sometimes it's just a sudden moment when the sun sets with the birds flying home, sometimes it takes staying up all night to catch the faint moonlight before dawn, or it could simply be the sound of the wind blowing through the old tree leaves.

Taking the time to live with the project before beginning the design process is of utmost importance for architects. Once they put pen to paper to sketch out a layout, even a slight ripple, a hint of hesitation, or a small oversight in understanding the location can make the entire concept of space incomplete, and the ideas become diluted.

With an understanding of the importance of contextual perception, every project of SENSEHOME CONCEPT begins not with sketches, but with initial "innocent" experiences. Approaching a pristine landscape area with openness always helps designers perceive unique elements that are not present elsewhere. These characteristics ensure that the project will be designed in a new, non-repetitive style, unlike previous projects, which most experienced architects often encounter. More importantly, by understanding multiple aspects of a location, design solutions often have a direct and sustainable impact on the context, minimizing weaknesses, maximizing strengths, and sometimes even turning challenges into rare opportunities to double the difference.

Delving deeper into a specific project, the design team of SENSEHOME CONCEPT, with 13 members directly involved, embarked on a memorable site visit for the An Duong project, nestled alongside a stunning lakeside agricultural compound in Dong Nai. The timing of the excursion was serendipitous, as it coincided with a full moon night during the water season, revealing a magnificent riverbank for camping under the moonlight. Everything became even more intriguing as the architects not only experienced the site from within the project outward but also from outside the project, particularly on the lake surface during special times of the day, dawn, and dusk.

The small emotions that arise unexpectedly during journeys are often fleeting for the average person, but for a designer, they represent an entire sky of ideas. In the role of space and experience creators, these subtle signs are meticulously traced back to their origins, developed, and introduced to other experiencers in unique and impactful ways through the integration of architecture, interior design, landscaping, and ecology.

Nature is inherently beautiful and inclusive, if only humans cherish and understand its value. We cannot design for nature because we are not grand enough to do so. Therefore, let us deeply understand nature and design spaces for extraordinary experiences within.
